Tricentis Tosca Test Data Service enables you to retrieve your test data via a web application from the Test Data repository.

The standard subset Modules use Test Data Service API v2.

You can use the following TestData Modules to manage the records in your database:

Optionally, you can omit the test configuration parameter (TCP) called TestDataEndpoint. In this case, Tosca Commander automatically retrieves a TDS endpoint from the Service Discovery.

To configure it, go to the Tosca Commander settings and navigate to Tricentis Services->ServerEndpointAddress.

TestData ModuleAttributes

The TestData Modules are located at Standard modules->Test Data Management->Test Data Service. They contain the following attributes:

Description

Existing TDS Type*

Defines the type in which the record is searched.

Alias name (record)

Defines the access to the resource.

This ModuleAttribute is optional. If you leave it blank, Tosca automatically uses the Value of the ModuleAttribute TDS Type.

Data search filter

Define search criteria for your records. This ModuleAttribute is optional.

Data structure

Define attributes for your records. This ModuleAttribute is optional.
