Symptom

When making or receiving a call in Microsoft Teams, the answeredcall remainsconnected for 29 seconds, and then disconnects.

Cause

The most likely cause of this issue is that no microphone is detected or configured in MicrosoftTeams. Teams itself will detect this and disconnect your call after 29 seconds.

Resolution

Adetected microphone should appear in Microsoft Teams in Settings > Devices > Microphone.

If you have a microphone or device with one attached to your PC andNone is listed in the Microphone section, you will need troubleshoot this issue either with your microphone, audio headset, or the PC it is connected to.
