Glossary |
You can export a simulation study to an Abaqus file (*.inp).
- Right-click the top icon of a Simulation study tree, andclick Export
- For Save as type, select ABAQUS Files (*.inp).
These simulation features can be exported to an Abaqus file format:
- Studies: Static, Dynamic, Nonlinear, Buckling, andThermal
- Sold, Shell, Beam, and 2D Simplification elements
- External Loads: force, torque, pressure, gravity, centrifugal, and temperature
- Fixtures: All excluding symmetry boundary conditions
- Spring connector
- Linear elastic material properties. Nonlinear materialproperties for plastic, hyperelastic, and viscoelastic material models arepartially translated.
Export Options
NodeOffset | Sets the node offset. The lowestnode label in the generated file will be the specified node offset +1. |
Element Offset | Sets the element offset. The lowest element labelin the generated file will be the specified element offset +1. |
Set the simulation data in the SI unit system in order to export to Abaqus.
