According to me, the best one would be Manjaro. It’s based on arch Linux.
It's a very fast OS and easier to install. It has a tool that installs drivers for you.
Apart from that, I would also mention Linux Mint. It's an Ubuntu-based distro that's amazing.The trickiest one would be Gentoo. Gentoo is known for being extremely difficult to install. When the topic of installing Gentoo comes up, the average time seems to be around three full days to just get the system installed.
I love arch and derivatives but don't trust AUR REPO ...
I use arch but rather than using AUR repo I build programs from source code .....
Gentoo is best if u hav time to build it and u can highly optimize packages for ur processor using "-march=****"…..
I will recommend to not use kde in gentoo as it's packages are very big and time-consuming..
Also using -01 rather than -O2 is better to save time.

Best: Obviously Debian. It is fast, light, stable, customizable and very powerful.
Trickiest: Linux From Scratch (LFS). Yow have to learn to make your own GNU/Linux distro!

I'm using for years Lubuntu and I'm very happy with it.
Fast and stable and with custom kernel it's even faster, especially it'll boot much faster.
My review is only based on development tasks incl. Firefox browser usage.
I've no idea how it's for games.

I've hopped around a few years, but If I had to choose a favorite, MX-23 x64 Is reliable and comes with handy tools like Snapshot. I can get all my apps installed, set up my desktop themes and wallpaper like I want, then make an exact copy of my running system into a bootable ISO for an emergency system restore disk.
