Gonna have to go with V here. Not only did they beat Adam Smasher, who stomped Davis, but V just seems to be the better combatant overall.

Imma go with David purely because he has his sandevistan which would obliterate V, smasher also has one in edgerunners but not in the main game or at least he decides not to use it for some reason, if in game he'd used it he would have obliterated V so imo kinda plot armour for V to win

^ Especially considering that V has better equipment, better experience, better resources, better fighting mindset, better feats.

Late to the party but seriously KCollie982? did you play the game? you are aware that V has access to a variety of Sandevistans right? and with the right attachments and, one of the lower end one's, can spam it just like David. Correct me if I'm wrong but David, in all likelyhood, rocks a version of the Militech "Falcon" which in game slows everything to 30% of it's normal speed. while V has access to a more advanced Sandy the Qiant "Warp Dancer" which slows everything around him to 10% of it's normal speed. if they were activate them at the same time David would be moving in slow motion in V's eyes. throw in active camo and a blade (guns are a horrible option for Sandevistan) and V is serving Lucy David Tartare for dinner. and that is only one of the many builds V could have. A netrunner V could Ctrl Alt Delete David using a traffic cam as a medium. it really is no contest.

Also V can just use Cyberwear Malfunction on David and his Sandy wont work so he will have to fight normally , then V will destroy him

Emm, how V can have more experience if in the game not says nothing about it, mention corpo path, but he was aka intellegent agent so sneaky peaky games, plus in the game shows how almost any security beats V with just one hit, he became stupidy strong only after bullet in his head. About sandevistian, it's only game where he can poop on K/D so basically game and anime working by different rules, David has Apogee. And about Smasher in anime using sandy, berserker, ice in same time, while in game nothing, so if V meet Smasher from anime V was oblitirated. And as was shown David was on last breath when heading to Arasaka tower with blockaors intoxication and cyberpsychosis and he even not fighting with Smasher just distracting him from Lucy and Falco. In my opinion if David meets V, so V don't have a chance if they were in anime working rules, cause as i told earlier V in the game just has armor plot and that's it. And David just better character for the game then V.
