The annual pilgrimage to the cradle of sports business is complete. Athens holds a special place in my heart. It was great to honor Martin Jarmond as distinguished alum, hear from the six leaders of the program, and catch up with friends while getting some professional development.

The PRCA has been a silent citizen in the Colorado Springs community since 1979. We are going to change the way we tell our story publicly and I’m excited to be on the front porch of this process. #WeAreProRodeo and we are proud to be corporate citizens in Colorado Springs!

Experienced my first reining (NRHA) and cutting (NCHA) on Friday as part of The American at Globe Life Field. It was an amazing display of animal athletes and it’s clear there is money supporting this sport. It was great to cross promote the sport of rodeo with such a great event. Congrats to the 9 champions from The American on Saturday - a $100,000 win for each of them means a ton and will help them all sustain their attempts at becoming PRCA world champions this season. As a bonus, I was able to see a dozen of our current partners and shake hands with even more potential supporters of rodeo.

Just over a month since my return to PRCA. I’ve been in Fort Worth, Vegas, San Antonio - and spent hours learning from our staff and listening to our external stakeholders. I’ve learned we are doing amazing things - we have a talented team - and incredibly committed partners. The next 2 months is going to be vital to setting the course for our mission. I’m more excited for this journey than I’ve been in a long time. Let’s go!#weareprorodeo

I’d like to thank everyone at the John Force Racing, Inc. team for the last year. We made some fantastic changes, won some races, and positively impacted our team of partners. Here’s to hoping the 2024 season will bring loads of Wallys and a championship run! Cheers to Sara Slaughter, Bob McAleer, Kevin Contardo, Hope Weaver, AJ, Jimmy, Tyler, Sheila, Alicia, John, Robert, Austin, Brittany, our crews, our Partners and everyone who makes those cars go fast!

Don’t ever think you have the roadmap to your career. After a whirlwind year at JFR, I’ve been called back to the western industry. Starting this week I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Marketing Officer at Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association!
