It took me about 53 hours to beat the first game and I did literally everything. I've missed quite a few things so far in DOS 2 and im only about three quarters of the way done with the story. My play time is about 60 hours. So it's definitely longer and also an overall better game.

If you don't farm enough to get all the skills and some good armour then yes it can be hard. The good thing about this game is like even after 80 hours there are still things to learn and to experiment. eh, kinda. On normal difficulty it's harder than the average game but not quite at "the dark souls of" level.

I read this multiple times, apparently BG3 is a huge game, but not as huge as Divinity 2. I remember in Divinity 2 I would spend almost 20 hours in Fort Joy lol (not Reapers Coast, actual Fort Joy), and apparently in this game you can be finished in 30ish hours.

This game has its mature aspects for sure. There IS some mild profanity. There IS ONE single tiny quest that involves suggested sex and is so out of the way and obscurely described that I doubt a young mind would pick up on it. There IS suggestive drinking and drug usage.

Diablo 3 is a more action oriented game where Divinity Original SIn is more about slow build up RPG with a focus on story driven content and more tactical combat approach with a lot of combos using skills and the environment. I would recommend Divinity Original Sin 2 over the first as it is a hundred times better.

PoE has fewer puzzles. I prefer the continuous combat in PoE, to me it seems more *realistic*. In my opinion the turn based combat in DOS feels a bit too much like a puzzle to be solved. Both games can drop you into *hopeless* fights (I'm ok with this) however it's easier to escape from them in DOS.
