This will most likely be the last trophy you get for your platinum trophy. After achieving everything else you might just be sitting around 15 - 20 hours played so there may still some grinding ahead of you. The trophy itself is pretty self explanatory. Simply play for 24 hours and this trophy will pop. Now to answer your current brainstorm, NO you can not simply leave your game on overnight to rack up those easy hours. The game accumulates your time across all modes, but only while you are in a song will your time go up. On top of that, it does not count songs that you don't complete. So to recap, you must be playing a song, and if you fail it will not count towards your playtime.

You can check your current playtime at any time by looking to the right of the main menu. Once you finish the song that puts you over that 24 hour mark, the gold trophy is yours my friend. If this is the last trophy you need, and you find yourself bored, and not able to play any more, you can simply load up "Angel Voices" on any difficulty, turn on the "no fail" modifier, hit play, and relax. Although you are still playing with modifiers on, the time will still accumulate towards your trophy. The only downside is you will have to continue to press restart every time the song ends to continue onto the next.
