Cinnamon Swirl Bread Recipe
Cinnamon flavoured bread which taste so delicious with a cup of coffee or tea.
About this Recipe
Cinnamon swirl bread is such a beauty. It is just delicious as it looks. I have already made a version which has eggs in them and it is one of my old old post. This one is a updated version and it is totally more delicious than that and pretty easy to make as well.
You will get the perfect soft textured bread with a yummy buttery sweet cinnamon spread inside it. It is yummy when served warm with a cup of milk. You can even toast it and spread with some more butter and enjoy it for breakfast.
Ingredients for Cinnamon Swirl Bread
- All Purpose Flour / Maida
- Salt
- Sugar
- Milk
- Dry Yeast
- Butter
- Cinnamon Powder

How to Make Cinnamon Bread at Home
- Take 4 tblspn of butter in a sauce pan, add milk and sugar and heat till sugar is melts. Now take it off the heat and let it come to warm temp.
- Now sprinkle yeast over it and set aside for 5 mins.
- Now take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Add yeast milk mix and knead to a soft dough.
- Now cover it and set aside for 1 hour till it doubles in size. Punch the air out and knead it well.
- Take it in a work surface. Sprinkle flour underneath it if needed.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Now spread over the remaining 3 tblspn of melted butter over the dough. Now sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mix and start rolling. Pinch the ends and place it in a greased loaf pan and cover it lightly. Now leave it to rise for another 1 hour.
- During the last 10 mins of rising. Preheat oven to 180 degree C / 350 degree F.
- Pop this in oven and bake for 35 to 45 mins.
- Now remove it and cool it completely.
- Slice and serve.

Ingredients
- All Purpose Flour / Maida - 3 cups / 360 grams
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
- Milk - 1 ¼ cup / 300 ml
- Dry Yeast - 2 tsp
- Butter - 4 tblspn
- For Topping:
- Butter - 3 tblspn melted
- Cinnamon Powder - 2.5 tblspn
- Sugar - ¾ cup / 150 grams
Instructions
Take 4 tblspn of butter in a sauce pan, add milk and sugar and heat till sugar is melts. Now take it off the heat and let it come to warm temp.
Now sprinkle yeast over it and set aside for 5 mins.
Now take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well.
Add yeast milk mix and knead to a soft dough.
Now cover it and set aside for 1 hour till it doubles in size. Punch the air out and knead it well.
