Trailhead is a platform to learn in-demand business, tech, and soft skills to level up your education and put you ahead in your game. The need for Salesforce skills continues to rise as more companies begin using the platform. According to a recentIDC report, the Salesforce ecosystem will create 9.3 million new jobs and 1.6 trillion in new business revenues worldwide by 2026. From administrators to solution engineers, there's a trail for you to discover the skills you need to take the next step in your journey.
Trails allow you to follow a guided learning path, while modules and projects allow you to learn in small increments with step-by-step instructions. Once completed, confetti rains down on the screen, letting you know you did a job well done. Along the way, your virtual trailblazer.me account earns points and badges to celebrate the new skills you've earned. One of the best ways to challenge the skills you've learned and demonstrate your abilities as a trailblazer in your desired role is to complete Superbadges and Super Sets.
Superbadges allow you to put your skills to the test with challenging real-world business problems. You must first complete a specific set of modules to be eligible for a Superbadge as they act as the foundation you'll be tested on. Once the modules are completed, the Superbadge will be unlocked and you'll be provided with the business scenario and requirements to fulfill the use case. Unlike a project or module, Superbadges don't provide you with step-by-step instructions but rather an overview of the business problem with a mesh of requirements and steps for you to complete. They can take anywhere from 6 to 15 hours to complete but are well worth the time investment as the benefits you'll reap are extensive. A Super Set is a group of Superbadges that solidify your understanding of certain skills in a specific domain. A couple of examples of these can be found in the header.
You may now be wondering why Superbadges are important and what kind of benefits you'll acquire from completing them. Here are a few reasons why:
In conclusion, Superbadges are a great way to solidify your learning and show that you've mastered the skills required. They propel your Salesforce career forward by opening the door to more opportunities and by showing higher-ups that you have what it takes to get the job done. By taking the time to play out these complex business solutions, you can reach that next level as a trailblazer.

Personally, I've experienced the sense of confidence one gains when preparing for certifications by solving those superbadges and super sets. The hands-on experience they offer is real and they definitely look good on the resume. :) Thanks for sharing this, Everest!
